What is Self Service Car Hire?
Self Service Car Hire is the latest custom service developed by Synergy Car Hire in partnership with some of our top suppliers.
Many of you, experienced long ques during the peak season, or were sold unwanted extras at the counter or had to deal with extra paperwork when picked up your rental car.
Self Service Car Hire addresses most of the issues customers had in the past when hiring a car.
Self Service Car Hire means: no ques at the airport offices, no unwanted paperwork, no small print, no security deposits or unwanted extras at the counter & no surprise charges.
When opting for this service, the customer only needs to collect their car keys from a designated machine once they arrive.
The last but not least reason for which Self Service Car Hire is amazing is that it can be booked using just a Debit Card. No credit card is required unless the customer chooses to use one.
Synergy Car Hire only accepts bank issued Visa & MasterCard Debit with embossed numbers. Prepaid and electron cards are not accepted.
How Do I book Self Service Car Hire?
As for any of our custom services, in order to book a car with self service, you will need to contact our main office.
Being a custom service offered only by few of our partners, it cannot be booked directly online.
We strongly encourage our customers to contact us by using the Service Enquiry form, the Live chat service or Call us directly before making any travel plans which include any of our custom services.
How do I proceed in order to collect my car after making the reservation?
Currently we are working with few partners in order to provide this service.
Each supplier has its own instructions when it comes to the car rental pick-up, but they resume to two main procedures.
- Pre-registration prior to arrival is required. The link for registration will be provided by our staff or it can be found directly in the rental voucher.
During the registration process, it is important to have your Passport, drivers license and payment card details on hand.
Once the customers arrive at the pick-up point, they only needs to collect their car keys from a designated machine once they arrive.
At the beginning of the rental, the customer payment card will be charged the equivalent cost of a tank of fuel. The amount charged will be returned when the car is returned with the tank full.
- The customer is required to download a mobile APP which is available for both Android based and Iphone mobile phones.
Once the mobile APP is installed, the customer needs register and enter the booking details and personal info in order to unlock the car.
It is important to have the App and register 48 hours prior the pick-up date and time.
